Part matching and alternates
Part numbers, supersessions, alternates and interchangeability screened across our own stock and vetted supplier feeds, so a request becomes a shortlist in minutes rather than a day of calls.
Technology & applied AI
Sourcing, quoting, fixture management and port-call reporting run on our own internal platform. We apply AI where it measurably shortens a response — and nowhere it would put a decision beyond review.
Why we built it
In both of our businesses the client is comparing counterparties on how fast a credible answer arrives and how well it holds. Off-the-shelf trading software did not fit two divisions with different vocabularies and the same discipline, so we wrote our own.
The platform is internal. It is not a product we sell, and it does not sit between you and a person — it is what lets that person come back to you within the hour with something they can stand behind.
What the system does
Part numbers, supersessions, alternates and interchangeability screened across our own stock and vetted supplier feeds, so a request becomes a shortlist in minutes rather than a day of calls.
Trace packages, shop reports, tags and certificates are read, indexed and checked for gaps automatically. Anything that does not reconcile is escalated to a person before a quotation goes out.
A cargo brief is screened against open tonnage, positions and route economics, so the alternatives we present are real ones with the numbers already laid out.
The first version of a quotation, charter party summary or disbursement estimate is drafted by the system and approved, corrected or rejected by the responsible person. Nothing leaves unreviewed.
Structured pre-arrival, in-port and departure reporting with a live disbursement position, so owners and charterers see the same picture we do.
Enquiries, documents and reporting handled in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, with terminology kept consistent across all three.
How a request moves
An enquiry arrives by email, phone or portal and is parsed into a structured request — part or cargo, condition, quantity, port pair, date.
Stock, supplier feeds, open tonnage and historical fixtures are screened at once, with alternates and near-matches surfaced rather than hidden.
Documentation and condition are checked against the standard. Gaps are flagged before the answer goes out, not after the purchase order.
A named person reviews, prices and signs. The system drafts; it does not decide.
Delivery, repair turnaround or the voyage is tracked to completion, and what actually happened feeds back into the next screening.
